Owls
Owls are weird. I wouldn’t be surprised if we discover that they somehow aren’t really birds but are some other kind of animal mimicking a bird. In a dream, a rock once admitted to me that it was really an owl. This happened in America. Lilith may have been some kind of owl.
I wouldn’t necessarily trust an owl, but I do respect them. I don’t dislike owls, I just don’t believe they’re birds. They are up to something, and it’s not the same as whatever the real birds are up to. They watch us.
Owl are silent when they fly, unlike most real birds which are surprisingly loud. The wisest tend to be silent, since words are evidence of misunderstanding. Perhaps this is why owls have a reputation for being wise in folklore, even though they appear at first glance rather stupid, at least compared to birds such as crows.
