VI of Cups
It means, “it is good to be hungry and eat.”1 It is the gift of human life, even the aspects that seem mundane.
The gift is given by the Moon; I know this from personal experience. It is also supported by the element of water in the form of the suit of Cups. The Moon is associated with water; when falling asleep in the moonlight, there is a sense of swaying back and forth. Water is the element of the subconscious, the underworld, and the ambient flow of feelings that become accentuated during hypnagogia to the point of being visible with one’s eyes closed—among many other things.
