Fernando Pessoa

Fernando Pessoa (1888–1935) was a Portugese writer, whose best work was probably the posthumously edited and published Book of Disquiet. He expresses very well the tedium of mundane reality—or unreality. However, he fails to draw any useful conclusions, instead falling prey to nihilism, in contrast to Lispector’s struggles with the same issues.
