Birds in Twin Peaks

“Two birds with one stone.” S3E1, also mentioned again by Cole later on.

Turkey, “gobble gobble.” FWWM.

See: Peacocks

Owls.

In the background of many scenes in S3, there are ducks. I don’t know what they mean. Also in FWWM some places.

“Two witnesses”?

Secret Diary, two songbirds.

In Missing Pieces, Bible passage read by Garland. Rev 11, two witnesses. (This is from KJV, may not be the exact snippet quoted by Garland:)

[3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. [4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. [5] And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies … [7] And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.1

In S1, S2, FWWM: Waldo, witness.

S3E8 and S3E18 song My Prayer: “when the twilight is gone, and no songbirds are singing.” (Cf. killing Waldo.)

In S1 or S2, at one point Truman briefly confuses Waldo for Laura.
